Pet care experience
I am married and mom to a beautiful 10 year old. I am President of my 501(c)3 Non-Profit in Decatur for animals. We reunite animals and also provide low cost spay and neuter for those in need of financial assistance.I have such a passion for animals and I love spending time with them and getting to know each of their unique personalities. I am very safe and careful when dealing with pets. I make sure they are always getting the best love, care and attention when I am with them. If you have a pet that is shy, I can be extra quiet with them. If you have a more hyper pet, I can provide them with ways to get some of their energy out. I have taken care of pets since I was a child. That passion grew and I have been caring for my own personal pets since the age of 20. Rebecca is so sweet! Dozer is pretty shy but she was very patient and knew exactly how to get him comfortable with her. Highly recommend!
My cats and dogs love her! I was nervous because I had never used a service before but she put me at ease. She sent pictures and even FaceTimed me. She gave my dog his insulin and had no issues. It’s so nice having someone you can trust to take care of your pets when you can’t.
It was an emergency situation and I needed a pet sitter immediately so I called Rebecca and she stepped right up, she found the not so well hidden keys to the house (never leave your keys so they are easy to find!!) and came by my house no less than 3 times in one day when I had to leave town in a hurry - my beloved cretins actually behaved and didn't whine (read: scream like wounded monkeys, they are Japanese Chins) her ears off OR try to escape out the door when she came by to let them out ... I can highly recommend Rebecca to take care of anyones critters (and house), she has the patience to tolerate even my ill-behaved cretins
I have known Rebecca for many years. She has such a way with animals. She loves them all and it shows. My 3 dogs really enjoyed playing in the yard with her.

I prefer having a detailed handwritten or typed checklist to go by when I watch your pet(s). This allows me to make sure I do not leave anything out and helps me to provide the best care for your pet. I require a harness (not a standard collar) and a form of I.D. on them (tag with current phone number) in the event of an accident or if they ever run off. I encouraged you to provide snacks, treats and chews for your pet during our time together. Having treats will be a fun way to help them build trust with me and it gives them something to do while they are at home alone. Please make sure any of the care items I will use for them are easily found. Ex: Crate, bedding, pee pads (if needed), food and water bowls, toys, chews. Medication: Oral: Please include a snack or treat I can “hide” the medication in. Injection: Please have all medical supplies ready for use. Please pull the syringe with medication to the dosage line and refrigerate or store as directed. Grooming: I do not clip nails, express anal glands or shave/clip. I only wash, brush and towel dry. Fluffy breeds will be an additional charge Client must provide shampoo for your pet. Applicable fees listed under Grooming section. If there is something I have not covered, please feel free to ask any questions.

A typical day
I always supervise your pet while outdoors and provide them with the utmost care. We can go on walks or they can enjoy free play in the backyard (if fenced).

I stay at home daily and work from my phone as needed throughout the day. I am available nearly every day from 9-5. If you need times outside of my availability, please contact me and I might be able to make accommodations.
