Attentive care for special needs
Pet care experience
Extended senior and special needs care including specialized play and administration of medications. In-home boarding for dogs of all ages or dog sitting in dog's home. I absolutely love dogs. My senior beagle (who passed a year ago) had special needs during the final years of her life, and she was pampered in every way- epsom salt baths to sooth her arthritis, the highest quality organic food to provide the best nutrition, full rotisserie chickens just for her, teaching new play to keep her mind active, and more. Pampering her became my entire world and focus, and now I'd like to provide that for your pet while you're away.
Reviews
Rebecca always does such an amazing job. My dogs love her so much! She takes such good care of them and treats them like they are her own.
Parker loves Rebecca! We’ll use her anytime Parker needs a sitter.
Rebecca took such amazing care of Saturn even with his high anxiety level. She is amazing and we will be having Saturn stay with her again.
Rebecca took SUCH great care of my pup for my 5-day trip. She is very responsive and provided amazing updates throughout. Rebecca knew I was sad / anxious about leaving my dog behind and went out of her way to make me feel comfortable. When I picked him up, I could tell he had been well cared for. I would 1000% book with her again and recommend her.

Your dog will never be left unattended and will be taken for leashed walks along Audubon Park. For smaller dogs staying in my home, a stroller is available if you do not have one to bring over. I am a responsible person and will ask for all emergency contacts and instructions before boarding/sitting commences. You'll be leaving your dog with someone who will love and care for it with the knowledge that this is the most important friend in your life. I look forward to meeting you and your wagging friend.

Information Rebecca A. would like to know about your pet
Any personality quirks and physical/mental ailments are important to know in advance. If we go for a walk, will your dog be nervous or aggressive around other dogs? Have they ever been aggressive toward a person? Have they been left with a sitter/boarder before? What is your dog's level of need for physical and mental exercise? What is their food/water/treats/sleep routine? Do they sleep on their own bed or in the people bed? Do they have allergies or stomach sensitivities that may present themselves while in my care? Do they take any medications? Who is their vet and their emergency contact? I will strive to keep their daily routine as similar to yours as possible. I am very interested in knowing their personal likes and dislikes as well as yours so they can be properly accommodated. I want to provide the best care possible to your dog while you are away.
A typical day
I love to play games with dogs! We will play treat finding games as well as hide and seek at home to keep them mentally stimulated. For those staying in my home, we'll go for walks at Audubon Park where there's plenty of grass to sniff. For senior and special needs dogs, they will have a quiet and peaceful space to enjoy. I'll gladly provide special baths, ear drops, gentle massages, or whatever else may suit their unique requirements.

Availability
I work remotely, so your boarded dog will have a human around at all times. This works great for senior dogs with special needs, puppies, and dogs with separation anxiety. There are no other pets in my home. Dogs up to 25 pounds can be boarded in my home, and for larger dogs I can stay at your home or check on them daily while you're away. For drop-in visits and walks, I'm available anytime during daylight hours.
