Pet care experience
Hi I am Rebecca, I’m a newly qualified midwife working in Cardiff. I work away from my family home (cornwall) where I was used to having 4 dogs to go on walks with and keep me company. I’m not quite ready to get my own dog just yet, but absolutely love walking and looking after animals. I am friendly and flexible and hope to make some new furry friends soon! I have lots of experience in caring for animals as I used to live with a variety of animals including; chickens, goats and as I’ve said previously 4 dogs.. even some cats too!

Rebecca is a very friendly and caring person. She loved spending time with my dogs and often took them out for runs or had them watching her do yoga! My digs love her too. Rebecca has a genuine love and passion for not only dogs but all animals.

My garden is fenced and I have a lot of space to home pets and keep them company. I do not have a crate but if that is something you would like your dog to stay in I would happily invest in one. I have dog toys for your pet to play with, however they are more than welcome to bring their own favourites too! :)

A typical day
Visiting new places and going on new adventures is a must! I love going to the beach and teaching dogs new tricks. I live right by a park too which is one of my favourite spots for walking as it has lots of space for running around :)

Availability
I currently work 3 days a week but in my spare time I like to go on lots of walks to parks, beaches and venture to find new woods. I am more than happy to have pets over night as I don’t tend to go out a lot so would be glad to have the company. My house is currently shared with 3 other girls with a big garden, a 2 minute walk from Roath park and no other animals so it is a safe space for all.
