The family dog taught me how to walk when I was a toddler. The running mythology is that I was raised by wolves. Have volunteered or worked with animals all of my life. Once had a coyote follow me throughout a desert, spent two winters seasons on a frigid Stallion farm in Ohio, but its always the dogs that express so much of what we fumble to others. I have a rescued fight dog that is now a certified Children's Hospital Animal, as well as a Foster Pittie that is an absolute idiot. But the best kind of idiot. He eats books that I love, and then craps out Voltaire the next day.
