Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Raymond though I go by Chip. Ive been working with dogs full time for about 18 months now. I quit my executive job and have embraced my passion and love for our four legged friends. I love Rover because it gives me a chance to meet and care for so many different pups. I've been a volunteer dog walker for the Seattle Animal Shelter since November of '22. I'm an advanced dog walker at the shelter ("Purple " walker) and have helped to train other shelter volunteers to work with more reactive or stressed out pups. I'm comfortable caring for, engaging in play with and walking dogs of all different levels of reactivity and temperament. I'm happy to care for the sweet and cuddly or the timid and nervous.

Raymond was great! Won over my soft shy Aussie and my seemingly fierce pittie in no time. I got some dog therapy, overcoming stranger/danger and a fabulous dog/house sitter. Raymond walked my dogs for 5 days while I was out of town.He sent me pics after each one .My dogs seemed and looked very happy while on the walk. He is flexible and easy going.I hope to request his service in the future. Thanx Chip!
The best sitter we’ve ever had! He went above and beyond with his care, updates and attention to Zelda.
Chip was wonderful with our dogs. One is very old and has some special needs and the other is nervous around strangers. But they both relaxed with him at the meet and greet, and we had nothing but a positive experience. He took great care of our house and sent us a daily update. We’ll definitely book again next time we travel if he’s free!

My apartment sadly does not allow dogs :( I will only be able to care for your pup on the go, taking them for walks or by coming to your home for visits or overnight stays.

I'd like to know general information such as: allergies, reactivity or anxietys, their general schedule and any likes or dislikes! This gives me the tools to care for each animal individually to best suit their needs.
A typical day
I prefer to adopt a dog's current routine as much possible. The focus of my care is to make sure your pets are comfortable and happy while their people out of town. Long walks with lots of smells, tug, fetch...I do it all. I'm also a specialist in making delicious slow feeder treats like frozen lick mats and stuffed kongs.

Availability
I love my job and I work with dogs 7 days a week. I take time off here and there for the occasional concert or road trip, but otherwise my weekly routine is focused on working with and learning about our 4 legged friends.
