My name is Raylynn. I am 22 years old. I have had multiple pets in my household since I was five. We once had 4 cats and 2 dogs at once. I was the main caretaker for them because I loved making them happy. When I was 18, I got my own animal for the first time. A baby potbelly pig. I bottle fed her because she wasn’t able to stay outdoors with her mother and siblings. Her skin became very burned from the sun so we had to take her indoors. I bottle fed her for two weeks until she was able to drink milk on her own from a bowl and eventually move to wet food, then dry food. I woke up every 3 hours when she cried to feed her every single night! Shortly after this, I got a job at an animal hospital in Tennessee, which is where I lived before I moved to Florida. I worked as a kennel technician, so I cared for all the cats and dogs that were boarded in the facility. I fed them, gave medications, and took them out for all their necessary potty breaks. During this time, I also recused a litter of puppies left in a parking lot in my hometown. I rehomed two of the sweet baby and kept one myself, whom I still have now. He was estimated about 6 weeks old by my coworkers at the animal hospital and I. He was very frail and malnourished. I rehabilitated him, and he is super healthy living in Florida with me now. I also adopted a kitten from a family I knew in Tennessee. She was rejected by her mother, so I bottle fed her as well. She slept with me every night and I nourished her and loved her everyday. I rehomed her when she was healthy and old enough to use her litter box and eat kitten food. I have so much experience in caring for many different animals or all ages!!
