I've had my own dogs for many years and have house sat for multiple people at various times over the past 10+ years. I'm familiar with dogs of all sizes and breeds, I've worked at vet clinics, humane societies, and fostered for a dog rescue for a few years. My own dog loves everyone and all dogs, and is super calm. Many small dog owners who have small dogs who are scared of larger dogs have expressed how quickly their dog calms down around mine. I'm willing to work on basic obedience, if you have a puppy I'm familiar with house training and/or crate training, and my weekends usually involve a trip to a local off-leash park so although I don't have a fenced in yard, they will get plenty of exercise and companionship. If your dog isn't good off-leash, I can still bring them and keep them leashed.
