I love nothing more than to be surrounded by animals. Being around dogs make me happy and caring for them is what I do best. I have had a Japanese Spitz growing up. Her name was Dodi and she passed away when I was 21. I have been a member of a dog rescue organisation from where I adopted my current pet. His name is Umka and he also happens to be a Japanese Spitz. I have over 10 years experience taking care of dogs and have the ability to be around different breeds without being intimidated. I do believe dogs understand the language of love and when they sense that, they reciprocate accordingly. I am mostly available on weekends as I work full time on weekdays, but I can make myself available on weekdays with advance notice.

Raylene was an absolute rockstar with our dog and cat. We were gone for 6 days on vacation and she made us feel incredibly at ease by house sitting. She gave us regular updates and photos, took Roman, our dog, on many long walks. Frankly, longer walks than we give him so I’m sure he was loving her! The pictures also showed he was enjoying his time with her. We would definitely book again!!

I would like to know the temperament of the dog and the background of the dog. This would help me understand how to approach and deal with the dog based on their past experiences and current lifestyle. I would like to know if the dog is a high energy dog or prefers to stay indoors most of the day. I would also like to know their eating habits and/or any food items (that are usually good for dogs) that are strictly forbidden. I would like to know if the dog has any health issues and if the dog requires special care.
A typical day
If the owner permits, I will take the dog out on trails for long jogs (1 hour). I will take the dogs out to parks if they have been trained to socialize.
