Hi! Thanks for considering us to take care of your baby(s)! We have had dogs as family members all of our married life (40+ years). They truly are members of the family, not “just dogs”. They snuggle on the couch with us to watch tv and sleep with us in the big bed. Your baby (or babies) won’t be treated any differently! We even split up at night when we have visitors, so everyone has a human to sleep with... that way there are no squabbles over snuggles 😊 We have a big fenced yard and a doggie door so they will have freedom to come and go. We always keep an eye on them though... just in case someone is looking for something to get into! The doggie door lets out onto a covered porch with steps down into the yard. Sometimes they just hang out on the porch, sometimes they ramble in the yard. We are comfortable administering medications, including injections. We currently have 3 fur-children of our own. An 11yo male lab/border collie mix, an 8yo male dachshund, and a 5yo female puggle. They are all three fine with unfamiliar small/medium dogs coming into their home, but they are not fans of bigger dogs, so we're a bit picky when it comes to the larger breeds. Our fees are inclusive… if your pup needs meds given, a nail trim, a bath… we treat your baby like he/she is our own while they’re here. Here's what we don't do: 🐾 Intact adults 🐾 Adults that are not housebroken (we don’t do potty pads) 🙂We understand the occasional accident that goes along with being in a strange environment!

Ray and Sherry love dogs, it's so easy to tell. They're very caring, and pay attention to whatever needs the dogs may have. I could see by the pictures they sent that my pup was happy and content, and even a little spoiled!

Ray and Sherry are amazing. They helped with my two young dogs earlier this week while I was here for a temporary job assignment. They are incredibly kind and compassionate and truly love dogs. Sherry sent me pictures throughout the day and it was very evident that my dogs were having a blast and my dogs loved them to pieces. I highly recommend Ray and Sherry. It gave me such piece of mind to know my dogs were in such good hands.

Let me know if your dog has special needs, of course. I also would like to know if your dog has any “quirks” that make him/her even more special. For instance, our dachshund is extremely nervous on a floor that isn’t carpeted. We need to know if your baby has any food allergies or digestive issues... we keep plenty of treats on hand and don't want to give them anything they shouldn't have. Anything, no matter how small the detail, will help us care for your baby in the best way possible. Thanks for checking us out!
A typical day
We don’t walk dogs per se, but we will walk with them if they need encouragement to walk around outside for exercise and potty breaks. Dogs here are free to go out and come back in as they please. If a visiting dog isn’t familiar or is uncomfortable with the doggie door, we will take him/her out and spend some time outdoors with them and offer playtime. We absolutely love playing outside with them when the weather is nice! We don't like to crate anyone, but if your pup is more comfortable sleeping in their crate we will respect that. If you bring a crate with them, we will leave it set up so they can have their own familiar space.

We are a husband and wife team. I’m retired, and my wife works part time. One or both of us is almost always home. We spend a lot of time on our porch swing and in the yard, so your pup(s) are sure to get plenty of fresh air and companionship.
