I love going for long walks (5 to 25km) daily and exploring nature with mans best friend. As an expierienced dog owner for many years, I feel confident with all sizes, breeds, and natures of canines. I have experience with reactive dogs as well. I have taken countless walks for years with my daughter's rescue dog (Formosan Mountain Dog) which is very energetic and reactive dogs and children. I always comply with their training, we would go on brisk walks and I carry her treat pouch complete with disposable bags for her wastes and water and sometimes her favorite toy as an extra treat. I respect their boundaries with training, in addition, do not go to the off leash areas as this dog can get carried away. With my experience with this 4 year old rescue, combined with my years of dog ownership, I am very confident with most mid sized non aggressive dogs. I have loved dogs all my life, I had dogs when I was much younger and as my children were growing up but am unable to have a pet at my current location. So, now when I am out walking daily, why not have a cherished (borrowed) doggy companion!
