Pet care experience
What started out as favors for friends and family turned into a side hustle! I have sat houses, cats, dogs, puppies, birds, rabbits, and more! Every pet owner I'm related to or friends with have me on their list when it comes to house and pet sitting, and that's why I thought I should take my services to Rover.

Ray did an awesome job taking care our cat Tempura. Super reliable and has great communication. It was great to know Tempura was in good hands.
Ray was so communicative and attentive to our dogs while we were away. She updated us regularly and took the dogs on multiple walks. We would definitely hire her again!

Ray is an absolute angel & a gem on this app! Not only is she super communicate but she also took her time to meet our little pup and get to know her. We have a 7months old pup who still needs lots of attention. And Ray did not fail to do that. It was my first time being away from my pup which can be already challenging. But I did not have to worry, Ray took amazing care of her & always provided lots of pictures during her stays. I cannot recommend her enough - I will definitely book her again. Finally someone I can trust!!

I prefer to do a quick meeting with my client to meet the animals, get familiar with the house, and address any questions or concerns I (or the client) may have. However, in a pinch, I'm cool with doing a phone call to get all the info I need. I want to care for all the animals while respecting boundaries set by my clients.

I think their energy level is important to know, along with anything imperative to their and others' safety (example: "Make sure the outside gate is closed all the way or the dog will get out!"). Also if they have any routines that the owner would like me to stick to.
A typical day
It depends on the dog but fetch and tug-o-war is normally my go-to. Depends on the area where I am but Devou park and Idlewild are great for dog walking! Plus Idlewild has a dog park.
