Pet care experience
I have never watched or walked an animal professionally, but my life has revolved around dogs (mostly) and all animals in general. I even helped a friend care for spiders and snakes. I grew up next to a farm, which became my home away from home. I am good with anything from a cow to a cat (admittedly not a lot of horse experience). I am here for you all as an emergency fill in, if you need some help with your animals. The charges listed are just Rover's recommendations. All I need is my gas reimbursed and a little for my time. I am not really looking for a regular gig... but I'm retired and available all day every day, if your animal ever needs a friend for a while. I currently have 7 dogs of my own.
Reviews
Ray is amazing with animals, dogs especially. He loves the outdoors more than anyone I know and his pack of dogs goes with him everywhere. I think walking dogs is an ideal fit for Ray.

Skills
Safety, trust & environment
I will come to your home and care for your pet as need be... not afraid of problem cases. Your dog is more than welcome on our farm... all my dogs are friendly... but the yard is not fenced in. I live near a lightly traveled gravel road. I have no official training in vet care, but I am fully versed in Emergency Aid and CPR for humans (I am an ex-police officer and also served as Shore Patrol in the Navy), and I have experience assisting veterinarians with both small and large animals (mostly from having grown up on a dairy farm). Limited experience with amphibians and spiders (I can feed them and clean their enclosures). Good with calves. Not a lot of experience with horses, but they don't hate me, and I would love to learn.

Information Ray B. would like to know about your pet
Anything out of the norm is very useful information. The most important thing is their emotional state or any medical condition, and then... if there is anything they either love or hate.
A typical day
I will play with them and their toys... take them for walks. I can bring one of my own dogs with and they can have a playmate.

Availability
I am retired, recently widowed, and I live on a small ranch with 7 of my own dogs (4 of them are 7 months old, all strays). There are a few cats and 4 cows and 2 horses on the property. My entire day is my own, so I am available for whatever time requirements you may have.
