We Love Your Pet Like Our Own
Pet care experience
We've been Rover sitters for 2 years, and we've had a blast meeting other passionate dog owners and their sweet pets! We offer a unique stay experience for your pup as we watch no more than 3 to 4 doggie guests at a time. (Our guest number depends on the temperament of the dogs. We never board aggressive dogs as we always complete a meet and greet to screen each dog for temperament.) My husband and I are compassionate people who have always had pets in our lives. We will take your pet on walks, runs, or bike rides and offer lots of playtime in our backyard. If you have an elderly dog, we are more than happy to tend to their special needs and create a tranquil environment. We are comfortable with any feeding method including kibble, wet food (stored in the fridge), commercial raw, or DIY raw food. We try to provide a similar type of environment and routine that you provide for your dog in your home. You do not need to bring over any dog beds, food bowls, or crates because we provide that for all dogs. My husband and I work as college professors and we organize our schedules so that one of us is usually home. Throughout the day your dog will relax with us inside the house and on the porch. We take great care in making sure you feel at ease that your pup is safe and happy. We send text/photo updates each day during your pup's stay with us.

Rawlslyn provided excellent care of our elderly dog Zara. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt at ease leaving Zara with her knowing she would be in great hands. Rawlslyn provided daily updates and photos and this provided wonderful reassurance that Zara was settled and being well cared for. We can not thank Rawlslyn and her husband enough for the excellent service they provided.
Rawlslyn and Wayne are the best! We always feel comfortable leaving our dog with them for short or long trips and love getting daily picture updates. Our dog loves staying with them and comes home exhausted from having so much fun! We highly recommend Rawlslyn and Wayne! :)

We happily accept house-trained dogs under 50 pounds. Your dog/s must be on some form of flea protection. Unfortunately, we do not sit the following dogs: 1. Dogs who will urinate, mark, or defecate in the home. They must be 100% house trained. 2. Leash-reactive dogs (dogs who are extremely uncontrollable on the leash). 3. Runners (dogs who run away from owners and try to escape from the yard or home). 4. Aggressive dogs (dogs that try to dominate other dogs or are aggressive to cats). We prefer drop offs and pickups after 10:00 a.m. and ask for you to send a text on the day of the drop-off or pick up notifying us when you would like to drop off or pick up your pet. Feel free to give us a 30-minute window so that we can prepare for the drop-off or pick-up. We are "night owls," so we are happy to accommodate late or very late drop offs or pick ups.
A typical day
Your dog will join us for morning and evening walks or bike rides and occasional trips to the private park inside our neighborhood. We also love playing in our backyard with frisbees, tennis balls, and ropes. On the weekends (with your approval) we like to visit the beach or go for a hike with our four-legged friends. :-)
