I am owner of The River Walker -Hiking/Walking/Pet Care. If you are hoping for more than pet care or a simple stroll, I offer special prices through my pet service The River Walker that will vary from the preset rates on my Rover account. About my qualifications: I have 7 years experience in the professional pet care community; that includes 5 years in the veterinary field and 2 years as a small business owner. I own a registered pet care business and specialze in dog hiking and pet sitting. Even though i prefer a nice long walk, I also provide options such as nice 30 minute stroll. Other services I provide include Drop-In Visits, Nail Trims, administration of medications and House Sitting! Besides a pet care specialist I am a stay-at-home mom with an easy going 3 year-old. She comes with me on all visits M-F before 6pm until she starts school in September 2022. so aside from weekends I can only take clients with children-friendly dogs until then. My rate varies and I accommodate sliding-scale needs.

Raven is very caring with all our pets. She did an excellent job watching dogs, hamster, bunny, goats, sheep, and chickens over the weekend. Which is a lot of pets! I would recommend her to any friend/family needing a pet sitter in the area!
Raven asked lots of good questions and was attentive to Jake's needs. She was also vigilant for suspicious activity. Would ask her to watch Jake again!
Raven is THE BEST. When I needed a new dog sitter for the holidays, she was there with her clear expertise for working with dogs AND her enthusiastic attitude. I felt very comfortable giving her access to my home and responsibility of my dog, twice a day for multiple days. Definitely will be a repeat customer !
Raven was fantastic with out pups! She was very communicative, thoughtful, and committed to ensuring she gave our two dogs attention every day, even in the midst of a snowstorm! I highly recommend booking with Raven!

I have a full fenced, dog-centric yard with grass and gravel, sun and shade. I keep all gates closed or locked. Because I have a toddler and cat I am always watching my feet for escape attemps.

Please let me know how your dog is around small children or other dogs? (I can socialize your pup with mine if you like otherwise they never have to meet). How well does your pet tolerate children? Does your pet have allergies? Any commands that work well? How is your dog in the car? How is your dog around strangers? Is your dog an onleash only dog?
A typical day
I am a busy body so I typically go for fast paced walks or hikes. I have a truck so I can go to secluded trails but I also like to walk side streets in town. I started River Walker Pet Services because I love to walk so why not share my adventures with a dog friend?? I am not afraid to get dirty, trek snow or walk in rain so hopefully your friend doesn't mind the elements! If so, no worries! I appreciate a pet that will lounge on a lazy day too. A soft stroll is always an option. If you are interested in socializing your dog or children, I typically have River- my toddler- with me and I can bring my pup Yoshi with me who is extremely dog friendly.
