From Friday to Sunday, Raquel was expected to look after my four-month-old puppy (Marsha). I had terrible separation anxiety because this was my first time away from Marsha, and I expressed that at drop off. Raquel appeared compassionate, assuring me that Marsha was in good care and even offering to FaceTime with me at any time. I asked to FaceTime around 9 a.m. on Saturday morning. Marsha was no longer in Raquel's care, which surprised me. Marsha stayed with her sister as Raquel went to celebrate her ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY WITH HER BOYFRIEND. She gave me her sister's phone number so I could verify Marsha's whereabouts. Raquel didn't return until Sunday afternoon to pick up Marsha. Raquel didn't think she did anything wrong when she offered phony apologies during my Sunday pickup. Raquel, I suppose, would have masked the drop off if I hadn't asked to FaceTime. I only mention this because she asked if I was okay with her taking Marsha to her sisters for a visit a few days before my scheduled drop off. A PA student should be mature and responsible, right? Unfortunately, Raquel isn't one of them. Her anniversary took precedence over a job she was paid to perform. My weekend get away was ruined by Raquel’s actions.
