Energetic + Loving care for pets
Pet care experience
Hi friends! It brings me joy to care for animals, as I grew up with shaggy terriers, cats, hamsters, and rabbits. I love spending time with doggies and kitties, and practice compassionate training when caring for puppies that need potty training and walking etiquette teachings. During daycare, I not only ensure that your pet is comfortable and safe, but I will also reinforce focused listening, and command following at all times, with love and kindness. In the past 7 years, I have become the go-to person for petsitting amongst family and friends. I truly believe pets want to grow and learn, and are the healthiest went physically and mentally stimulated. I am always teaching them something , i.e., tricks, words, games, etc.
Reviews
Raquel was incredible with Trip! They were super communicative and our little guy had the best afternoon. It put us at ease knowing he was with someone so trustworthy and the pictures are precious. Will be booking again, highly recommend!
My beagle Freya loves Raquel, and she is always happy to stay at her home! I am confident that she is extremely well taken care of and gets plenty of attention. Raquel takes Freya on long walks so she get plenty of exercise. Freya also enjoys a lot of play time with the other dogs in the group. We feel lucky to have found someone as caring and responsible as Raquel!
Raquel truly exceeded expectations as Malone's daycare sitter. Her exceptional care went beyond the ordinary – not only did she shower him with attention, but she infused his days with joy. Nature walks, runs, lake visits, and playful adventures with other pups became a routine, making Malone's experience both enjoyable and fun. Raquel's dedication and love for dogs truly shine through. Highly recommended for anyone seeking top-notch care and unforgettable experiences for their furry friends!
Noki had a great time! I appreciated all the pics and updates throughout the day!

My home has a lovely little fenced backyard where dogs run around, play, or lounge in the sun on beautiful days. Even though the yard is fenced and pretty safe, I typically watch them to ensure there is not too much barking. In our spacious home, your furry baby can find multiple cozy corners to nap at. Nico, my doggie, is extremely friendly and will become your dog's nap mate! In your home: When house-sitting, I can do overnights some days of the week and on weekends. Before confirming Housitting bookings, I typically do a walk-through/ short visit with the owner and pet at their home to ensure we're a good fit. I am committed to respecting the house and the client's belongings and leaving the place in better shape than it was found.

Information Raquel M. would like to know about your pet
It is important to know the unique pet’s personality, routine, allergies, habits, and behavior with new people and other dogs. In addition, it is essential to ensure that the pet’s care instructions are filled out on Rover.
A typical day
Exploring, discovering, and having a fun day with the doggies is what I love the most about being a pet sitter. We are so lucky to have access to excellent parks and the water in Seattle, so taking our furry friends for long hikes, runs, or walks - depending on the level of energy of each dog - is something I enjoy very much. The Washington Park Arboretum is a magical place to explore with doggies, as it is safe and diverse. They get to enjoy nature, make new friends, and relax! In addition, I provide basic training when spending time with your pet. I will reinforce your potty training with love and kindness if it is a puppy. For older doggies, I teach them healthy walking etiquette, off-leash walking, and self-control/calming commands. I really devote a lot of energy and attention to the pets I care for.
