Hi there! I'm Raquel, I'm an artist and Teacher. I had a dog for 17 years and miss having a furry friend around. My main priority is that your pet feels safe and cared for at all times during their stay. I have a spacious one bedroom apartment, in a dog-friendly elevator building, and live one block from Central Park, which is ideal for walks and playtime. I recently purchased a dog cam so that I can check in on your pup while I'm out of the house. My schedule rotates And I’m on an academic schedule. I can provide 3 walks a day and can only take house trained pups that can spend time alone. If your dog is a runner or needs some exercise, I can take them for a run around the reservoir. I know I could use the encouragement! Note: My building only allows dogs up to 70 lbs.

Sushi loves staying with Raquel. She is so so happy when she gets to her place and when she can hang out on the balcony. Raquel sends lots of updates and pictures which I liked a lot. Our favorite sitter :) thanks for everything!
Needed a last minute sitter for a long weekend. We have reached out to Raquel in the past, but the timing never worked. This time she was our saving grace. She was great with Banksy and sent us a lot of updates and great photos. Overall Banksy is chill, but has normal bulldog traits (i.e. extreme stubbornness), but Raquel was not phased but it at all. Came home to a happy, healthy Bulldog. Definitely recommend her!
Raquel is the best! Our dog Winston got sick while staying with her and she took the best care of him and treated him like her own dog. She provided us with updates while we were away and made us feel reassured that he was in great hands. We are so grateful that Raquel watched Winston and will definitely be booking with her in the future!
Raquel was very responsive and caring. She took excellent care of our senior Lab and sent us regular photo updates. A trustworthy and good person.

I am always interested in information from the owners on how the dog manages this and whether I can provide some assistance. I would like to know how the pup is with other sitters. Do they bark a lot? Do the pee in the apt a lot?
