I love dogs more than anything and they seem to love me back! I’ve made special connections with therapy dogs I’ve worked with (wilderness therapy) and taken care of. Dogs seem to enjoy my calm, free-spirited demeanor. I lived with a pit bull for 2 years, and my mom has had dogs in the home when I was a kid...but I’ve had a lot of friends/jobs with animals my whole life. I’ve interacted with so many different kinds of breeds. Honestly, my special skills are just being friendly and nurturing.. I just have a special place in my heart for dogs and I can feel a warmth and connection when I interact with them. My availability would typically be evenings during the week and weekends.

After knowing Raquel for well over a decade, I can honestly speak to her level of integrity and genuine love of life and all things 4 legged! Raquel has always been our go to girl for someone to watch our beloved German Shepard while we vacationed! I have to admit, we all miss her being in CT- knowing our dog was in the best of hands always left us with such peace of mind- she’s truly the best!
Raquel is an amazing friend and is like a sister to me. She loves dogs and while she’s currently unable to have one of her own, dog sitting would be the next best thing. Raquel is extremely active and has so much energy and love to give. She is an outdoorsy person so rest assure that she will keep up with any dog or puppy no matter how active they are. She is reliable and dependable and a great problem solver. You will not regret choosing her!
Raquel is a responsible and attentive pet sitter for my dog Duffy. She ensures he is fed in a timely manner and is taken out for exercise 2-3x daily.
