Pet care experience
I grew up caring for my dogs in my youth. My maturity partnered with experience, I feel comfortable with any animal. I was born and raised in Alaska and the outdoors have always been a part of my life. Dogs just compliment that lifestyle so well. I'm active and dogs help me stay active. They can keep up and vice versa. I'm usually available in the mornings before noon and in the evenings anytime after 10 pm. Due to the pandemic, my schedule at work is unfortunately not set in stone. I'd like to know a general behavior of the dog so I know what and what not to expect. If the dog is potty trained or is still learning.
A typical day
Wherever the dog would like to go. Dogs much like humans have a route im sure they like going through. I like to walk with a dog as opposed to "walking it". Of course if I'm with an older dog i'd stray away from steep hills or high traffic area. I'd bring the little guy to the park and do some cliche things like throwing fetch or (if permitted) try to make some dog friends at the local dog park. Depending on the area i'd like to go on a hike, time permitting of course.
