Randy was great! Our two beagles stayed at her house for 6 days and now even two days later they are still tuckered out from playing with her dogs. She kept us updated on what/how they were doing with pictures and messages. I'm normally a worry wart when the dogs are not with us but I felt so comfortable with Randy taking care of them. We have already talked to her about booking for our next trip!

We were extremely happy with Randy! She replied to our request at the last minute on Thanksgiving day for the next day. The pictures and updates helped to know all was going well and we could enjoy our day without worry. When we arrived home our dog was happy. We couldn't ask for more!

Randy was an excellent dog-sitter, as always. Her house has so much space for our (large) dogs to run all over, and they got to spend a lot of time outside in the fenced in yard. Also loved how flexible Randy was when we inevitably had flight delays - one less thing to worry about when you know your fur-babies are in good hands.

PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO LAST MINUTE BOOKINGS NOT BEING COMFORTABLE AROUND OUR DOGS. I WILL REQUIRE A MEET & GREET AT LEAST 2 DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR BOOKING. THIS IS TO ENSURE OUR DOGS GET ALONG AND DO NOT POSE ANY DANGER TO EACH OTHER. We are flexible in scheduling this and will require a meet in a neutral area (there is a park across the street) and a visit to our house to make sure your dog is comfortable in our environment. A dog's safety and comfort are our number one priority. - We do prefer dogs in our care to be crate trained - not to leave them locked up all day but so they have a familiar place that they can have some alone time if the doggy play dates get too hyper, or they just want a rest. It also provides a comfort area for your dog in a new environment and allows us to keep your dog safe in case we leave the house or go to bed. - Are they happy to interact with other dogs? We have 4, 2 of which who are very playful, so this is important. If your dog is nervous around other dogs, we will still consider your booking but please be advised that we may not be a suitable fit. - Do they show any signs of food aggression? - Are they crate trained or where do they usually sleep? - When you leave the house, where does your dog stay? Outdoors? Crate? Free reign of the house? - Are they fully vaccinated, including Kennel Cough?

A typical day

We live in Cary and in a neighborhood with fantastic greenways. We can walk several miles of trail either on the paved trails of through the woods and grass. We will let them explore their outside surroundings. We have a wooded backyard with decking and the dogs love to run around outside and take naps in the sunshine or play with their toys outside. We also live near Bond Lake for dogs who want to go for a longer walk around the lake!
