Pet care experience
Hello! I’ve never lived in a home without a dog and adopted my first as an adult 20 years ago. Since then, I’ve adopted 4 rescue dogs and currently live with/“own” 3. I’m a diligent dog parent who understands canine behavior and can intuit when a dog is “off.” My entire family is comprised of dog people. We grew up with German Shepherds, some of which my mom competed with in Schutzhund. My parents currently own two Woof Gang franchises and two grooming schools in Florida. I do marketing and operations for the grooming schools, including organizing an annual dog grooming competition. I’m a marketing executive and freelance writer who’s facing headwinds in the current job market. There’s nothing I know and love more than dogs, so I decided that taking care of your best friends might be the perfect solution to supplement my freelance work. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your pups!
Reviews
Randi is absolutely amazing with animals, especially with my extremely high energy 3 year old dog, Reilly. Randi is a loving and compassionate caregiver. One thing that was really important to me was to keep up with my dog's training and reaction to other dogs. Randi provided consistency in his trainings during walks, and communicated frequently. Highly recommend, my pup and I both love when Randi comes over!!
Randi has cared for my dogs (and cat) and genuinely treats them as her own! She has cared for both my senior dog while he was still with us and now my young, energetic puppy. Randi is always willing to take my dog out for long walks or even just spend time at home so they are not lonely. As a dog lover/owner herself I know she has the appropriate knowledge and experience when caring for other dogs and I would trust her with mine anytime! I highly recommend Randi as a responsible and reliable pet caregiver!
Randi is an amazing pet owner. She has always been a very responsible, caring loving owner to her 3 fur babies. She always shows up for them and has shown our practice what unconditional love. She also always shows up on time for her appointment and is very very sweet. I recommend her to any animal that needs care. She has our respects at the hospital and will be a great fit to help take care of others out here who need it. We love her.

Unfortunately, one of my pups is dog selective, so I think it best to care for dogs in their own homes/environment. I understand how important routine is to a dog, so as we get to know each other, I’ll ensure to visit at the same times, walk the same routes, and provide treats at whatever cadence the client prefers. Once I’m sure the dog is comfortable with me, we might be able to change up walk routes, toys, etc., with the owner’s approval.
Information Randi W. would like to know about your pet
Which/if treats are permitted, any allergies or medical conditions, tolerance levels for other dogs and people (are they reactive, territorial, etc.) I won't judge your dog for being skittish or reactive, I just need to know about it so I can ensure they -- and others -- are safe. (For example, I wouldn't want to do an introduction to another dog on a walk if they are dog selective.)
A typical day
Everything from walks to snuggles to playing with toys! I truly enjoy spending time with dogs and tailor my approach based on what works for each animal to meet them where they are at. For example, some dogs are highly food motivated and aren't snuggly; others want lots of physical interaction. There's not one way to take care of all dogs -- they're individuals, just like people.
