Pet care experience
I’ve been taking care of my neighbor’s dog and 2 cats for 6 years, sometimes for a week or more at a time! I also have my own 6 year old lab who I walk, feed, bathe, love and adore as well as a 2 year old cat that I’ve just recently adopted from the SPCA where I also volunteer. I’m a college student so I have ample time on the weekends to love your furbabies!! I’m also available most weeknights if you needed a day or 2 to yourself :) I love love love walking dogs, but if the pup doesn’t want to be outside we could always just cuddle on the couch! I am great at adapting to the personality of the pets that I’m sitting and I love to follow schedules so the pets are as comfortable as possible!

I try to always give pets 100% of my attention while I’m in their home. I acknowledge the fact that I am a stranger in their space, so I try to give them the opportunity to get more comfortable with me being there so that they feel safer!

I would like to know if your dog has any special needs or requires certain care. I would also like to know what tricks they are familiar with so I can mentally stimulate them as well. Please inform me of any good spots to scratch or avoid, any particular treats that they especially love, or any medications they take and how they should be administered.
A typical day
I love trying out new ideas that I've picked up from websites to help stimulate dogs' minds. It is equally important to physically exercise as well as mentally exercise. I usually like to find quieter areas to walk dogs since I like for the dog (s) to be focused on themselves and their happiness rather than worried about what us going on around them.

I’m a college student so I don’t have any classes for the summer. I have ample time to care for your pets whenever needed whether that be breakfast or dinner, I can be there!
