Pet care experience
I've lived around dogs my entire life and cared for them since I was a child -- I've lived with two dogs (and two snakes). I've never met a dog I didn't get along with! Available weekdays for sitting/walks, weekends for overnights. Additionally, I've volunteered in an aquarium with all types of delicate terrestrial and marine animals for 2.5 years, so I have tons of professional experience with all types of creatures (working with dogs is nothing compared to working with stubborn river otters!). I'm a very detail-oriented, responsible, punctual person, especially when it comes to animals. I will happily follow all and any detailed instructions you leave behind for your beloved pooch.

Raissa takes care of two dogs and two snakes in her personal life. She loves all animals! She also volunteered for two years at the Aquarium of the Bay in San Francisco and worked closely with many different animals. Obviously, this required a lot of dedication and responsibility on her part. As long as I have know her, she has had a passion for taking care of animals. Every time a dog walks down the street, she can't help but say hello and pet it. There's no one I can think of who likes dogs and animals more than Raissa. She's also super easy to work with and an awesome person!

All I need to know ahead of time is the dog's size, feeding preferences, energy levels, and what kind of attention you think they'll need most. Knowing their temperament would also be helpful (do they like to socialize, are they shy, etc).
A typical day
Thankfully Alameda is full of great dog-friendly parks; there's always one nearby. If you have a backyard we can play fetch, run around, tug, or rest. It's all about feeling out what your fur baby wants to do. :)

I work remote the weekdays I'm available and can hop over anytime after 5pm, as long as you're also in Alameda. I walk around all the time!
