We have known Rainy W. for several stages of our pets. She truly enjoys working/playing with dogs and cats. She is patient and creative to encourage a cat that doesn't want to walk with a harness and leash to walking fairly well on a leash by just going, almost everywhere the cat wants to go. After a time, the cat accepted the encouragement to try some new paths. Working with dogs just comes natural to her. She enjoys the interaction and talking "with" them. We had an Aussie that had lost most of his sight so he only wanted to stay in the middle of the yard. Rainy worked with him through play to seek her out with his nose and his ears as she had him find her using small treats (at first) and a noise maker (such as a squeaking toy or small bike horn). He was able to get exercise, have fun and learn to explore his environment again. Our current dog, a Border Collie, loves going on walks with her and if you mention her name he looks out the window or runs around the house looking for her. We certainly recommend Rainy for a job with a dog walking/sitting service: good for the dogs and great for her. She is a trustworthy and responsible individual that gave safe loving care to our pets.
