Pet care experience
Hello Pet Parents, my name is Raines! I am a dog/cat owner looking to care for other dogs/cats. I’ve been an animal owner for the majority of my life, ranging from cats to dogs to hamsters to helping with horses. The first animal that was 100% mine was my yorkie Finn! He is now 6 years old, and I can definitely say he taught me how to be the best fur-mom. I often care for pets belonging to family and friends. I treat every pet as if they were my own. My most recent animal I took care of was a cat, he had a unique situation where I ended up dropping in on him multiple times a day at his house for about 3 months. I’m very passionate when it comes to caring for animals. I’m very attentive and love to show you that your pet is being well taken care of via daily pictures!

Raines is the best! She took care of our 3 dogs while we were out of town. She stayed at our house with them and made sure they were happy and well taken care of. We’ve already booked her again for an upcoming trip. 10/10 would definitely recommend!
Raines was great! Very attentive to our dogs, followed any instructions/tips perfectly, and our dogs were very happy the whole time she was there! Would definitely ask for her again.
Raines is the best! She is almost always available when we need her, she takes pics of our fur babies every time she visits, and offers multiple visits a day! We have been very happy with her services and look forward to booking with her in the future!

Every animal is different, but their safety is the upmost important thing to me. Some animals such as cats free roam the house, but I am still very cautious about enter the house. Such as completely closing a garage before entering so they can’t get out. When I leave my own house we have a pet gate so I experience putting up a few different kinds. When we talk/if you’d like to meet in person, I will have a notebook where I write down key information. I will ask about their feeding schedule, where things like treats, food, leashes, pee pads (for accidents), or litter box items are kept all depending on the animal. I’ve watched a couple of elderly cats as well so I would also like to know who their primary vet is just in case. I have experience with outgoing animals and also very timid animals. I’ve been able to gain the trust of all my past animals that I’ve watched, it just takes time and patience.

Let me know beforehand of any special diets/restrictions for your pet I want our time to be comfortable and enjoyable for us both. If your pet has any need for medicine, or you have a method proven to work for your animal I’d love to know, every pet is different! I’d also like to know the vet your pet uses in case of emergency that way I can take them to one who knows their medical history.
A typical day
My dog’s favorite pass time is playing fetch (he could play for hours) so I have no problem playing with your dog(s) and their favorite toys! If you dog(s) enjoys a nice stroll around the neighborhood I also wouldn’t mind that!

Availability
I have two-three days off a week, and the days change every week. I am available to drop in before work, after work, or both. I also get 30 minutes to an hour break for lunch. I have alternating weekends off. I get off work around 6:30 everyday.
