Pet care experience
I have been a dog parent for 40 years. I understand that each dog is an individual, requiring a flexible care giver. I have opened my home to animals while the parent was deployed or stationed over seas. One such stay lasting over a year. I walk several dogs on a regular basis which puts me out of the house a couple of times per day. Trust that boarded pets are first priority. I will never leave your dog for more than 4 hours. As a frequent dog walker, I have stamina to keep up with all levels of dog energy. In addition, USAFA has many trails, so they will get plenty of exercise. Dogs and kennels will be kept inside my home in the living area. They will be introduced to my friendly little dogs, my husband, and my teenage son and daughter. Although, I will be solely responsible for all of your dogs care.

Raine is one of the most dedicated, driven and capable people I know. She has a huge heart for animals of all kinds and has proven her skills with animals in the ones she has herself as well as with mine and many others she has watched or taken in over the years. A friend of almost 20 years, I have a long history watching her strengths blossom into skills that are no doubt trustworthy, effective, caring and consistent. I would leave my fur-baby in her care any day with zero hesitation and great expectation! She is amazing!!!
My weimaraner has the best caregiver and I am so happy to be able to share with you why. Raine is first of all, a connector with my dog. She is “all in” when she is with Empress, taking her for long walks, caring for her unique needs as a previously abused rescue. When we return home, Empress is calm, rather than nervous because she has received the attention that she needs from an experienced, caring woman who not only treats Empress like her own pups, but writes meticulous records of their activities. We love and trust Raine completely in our home and with our most prized possession, and will only use her. It allows Empress to stay in the comfort of home with who is now like a family member, rather than staying in a cold, kennel with strangers.
