I have 10 years of hands-on experience living with, walking, and managing reactive dogs, including working with professional trainers to learn safe, effective handling techniques. I’ve since expanded that experience through professional dog-trainer education and hands-on work in daycare, boarding, training, and shelter environments. I’m comfortable with puppies, seniors, large breeds, and dogs who need extra patience or structure. I use reward-based methods and pay close attention to body language, safety, and each dog’s individual needs.

Safety comes first. I pay close attention to canine body language, the environment, and potential triggers throughout every visit. I follow your dog’s established routines and handling instructions and use reward-based methods. On walks, I prioritize secure equipment, appropriate distance from triggers, and safe management rather than forcing interactions with unfamiliar dogs or people.

Schedule
I offer dog walking around my existing professional dog-care schedule, with morning and early afternoon availability on select days. I keep my Rover availability updated so I can give each dog the time and attention they deserve. Recurring weekly walks are welcome, and I’m happy to discuss a consistent schedule that works for your dog.

I also want to know about any history of reactivity, fear, resource guarding, escape behavior, or sensitivity to dogs, people, wildlife, vehicles, handling, or other triggers. These behaviors don't automatically exclude your dog—they help me plan a safer, more successful visit.
