I have had two dogs but also house sit/ dog sit for a family with three dogs and board for another dog when the family is away. They range in sizes from small to large however my current dog is a very small dog. I have taken care of puppies as well, and have known the dog that I board since he was very young. I also watch a medium field spaniel from time to time. I can't board because my dog is kind of picky about who he gets along with and I also have cats. One of the cats is very shy and will never come out for food when new dogs are here but she is used to the other two. My schedule is flexible for the summer right now.
