My mom has owned a business raising and breeding kittens since I was little. At age 7 we stopped having cats and got 2 great danes and ever since i’ve been in love with dogs. I petsit on the regular and I own a Husky and Australian Shepherd. I love all types of animals and treat them as my own. I work at village vet hours are 7:30 - 5:30 I treat every pet as my own. I go by owners instructions on how to care for your pet. Dogs are fully supervised all day.

I am so glad we found Rain! SO much better than a traditional kennel setting. Rain sent tons of pictures and video and kept us updated on how things were going. I always felt guilty leaving our dog at kennels but knowing she was being so well taken care of put me at ease. Thank you!!!
Rain took such good care of Luna! She took her on two long walks, made sure she went to the bathroom, and ate her dinner. She sent me great photos and was very timely with her updates. Highly recommend and will definitely use her again! Luna loved her!
Rain has been watching my pup for the last week and there’s literally no one I’d rather leave him with. Rain is an experienced dog owner and sitter, and throughout her time watching my little Joey( a 6 month old Miniature Schnauzer) she’s taught me so many tips and tricks for taking better care of him, and even introduced him to an anxiety vest that’s been helping him sleep better. I would highly recommend Rain to anyone looking for a sitter for their pup, you won’t be disappointed;) My only concern is that Joeys not gonna want to leave, he’s just as much on vacation as we are!!😂😂

Pets have access to fresh water and toys all day. Our backyard is fenced and pets are supervised while outside. There is a camera in their room where they are crated for safety as well. I do complimentary nail trims and brush/bathe/blow dry

Let me know about behavior, feeding schedules, and any tendencies your dog has beforehand. also let me know if up to date on vaccinations. if it’s a puppy and it hasn’t been fully vaccinated i atleast require that the first set of shots have been completed.
A typical day
toys are available every day with a wide variety. walks are given out morning and night bedtime is at 10:30 or later and dogs are fed morning and night

Availability
I work at village vet, hours are 7:30-5:30 I let them out an hour prior before leaving to work to feed them and let them use the bathroom. If i do work they are crated while I am there due to safety. There is plenty of toys, music, and a camera in their room to keep them company. When I get home from work they are out from the time I am home till around 11 at night when they are all sleepy. I only crate when I am not home and do not feel comfortable leaving pets out again due to safety reasons.
