Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs and have experience looking after different breeds and sizes from small to large dogs. I am a caring cat parent to Tony a loving and energetic Bengal. I am providing dog walking, pet day care and overnight boarding services. I have a true passion for animals and the outdoors and have entered the pet care industry after an extensive and successful career in the hotel industry. I am keen to provide exceptional service to you and your pet(s). I have availability for pet drop-in visits, dog walking, and overnight boarding Mondays through Sundays and would be available for doggy day care over weekends. An in person meeting to meet you and your pet(s) is preferred prior to providing services. I live in a smoke free house in a quiet neighbourhood close to trails and have a backyard! I have a true passion for animals and the outdoors and can reassure you your four legged family member(s) will be well looked after in my care whether on a neighbourhood walk or a hike at a park or while boarding.

Rahel did an amazing job watching our pets while we were away. All medications were administered correctly, walks were carried out and visits were punctual. Rahel is very easy to deal with and asks all of the appropriate questions to ensure that she has all information required. This helps to minimze stress during time away from the fur-babies. Highly reccommend!

Rahel has watched my dog Buster on a few occasions for daycare and boarding and every time we go to her house, Buster is so excited to see her! Rahel is extremely approachable and a great communicator so it was easy to have an honest chat about my dog’s needs during his stays. She took great care of him, clearly knows dogs and how to make each individual dog comfortable. Buster will be looking forward to spending more time with Rahel and her cat Tony who is the sweetest cat you could ask for :) Definitely booking again and highly recommend!

I am pet first aid certified and provide reliable and caring pet care services including a complimentary meet & greet for all new clients to ensure we have an opportunity to get to know each other and a chance to meet your dog(s)/cat(s) prior to providing a pet care service. Recognizing that a lot of clients are looking to host their dogs in a non-kennel environment I board one client at a time unless a household has more than one dog. All my dog walks are "private" walks meaning your dog(s) get my undivided attention (no group walks unless a group walk is requested and has been reviewed). You can expect a daily update from me via Rover text for boarding and doggy day care and a rover card for each dog walking service and drop-in visit.

A typical day
I love to interact with animals by talking to your dog/cat, playing with your dog/cat, and walking your dog in your neighbourhood or at a local park. There is nothing more exciting for a dog than being able to explore new trails and smells on a walk or hike with a loving and caring dog walker.

Availability
I work from home Monday to Friday and have plenty of time to take care of your four legged family member. If your dog is active I take him/her for a nice walk in the morning prior to my work, provide a shorter walk or backyard play time over lunch, followed by another good walk with play time after 5pm and another shorter-medium walk later on in the evening. I always aim to match your pet's schedule/energy while your dog/cat is in my care.
