Pet care experience
I've taken care of pups mostly, but cats as well while volunteering at Pasadena Humane Society. I have a 14mo old Boston Terrier who's super friendly and playful. We go to the dog park often and I take him on runs (though have limit those to 2 miles). I used to walk for Wag, but now WFH full time and like having a pup or two around.

Rafa was amazing! Daily pictures of my animals and he left the house clean. My dog didn’t yell at me when I got home (lol) so I know she was really happy with the situation. I’d absolutely hire him again!
I will continue to request Rafa every time I need care for our family pets. He was more than I could have hoped for. I had never had overnight care and it was a crap-shoot to pick someone. We got really lucky. Rafa cared for out pit and cat. He brought in our mail and fed our outdoor critters. He gave our dog the correct medicines every day. He brought in our trash cans and moved a vehicle for trash day. What?!!! I know! He is just ridiculously amazing. Worth every penny, Rafa is super competent, friendly, animated with our pets and on time. He left everything just as we left it and sent us numerous pics of our babies while we were gone. I have already booked him for our September trip. Thank you Rafa!!!
Rafa is an incredible dog sitter/walker/enthusiast. He’s taken care of my pup at various times over the past 8 months. He’s attentive and sweet to Frankie and takes him on plenty of long walks and trips to the dog park. Frankie loves going over, so the transition is very easy (which is nice because Frankie runs a little anxious). Rafa will make sure your dog is cared for and loved while you’re away.

I take the same care of your pet that I do mine. If you want them to go to a park, I'm happy to take them. Otherwise, I can go downstairs to the shared yard and they can run around/do their business (outside of normal walks)

Let me know if your dog has any medications, triggers, or preferred care practices. I'm pretty flexible and want to make sure your pup is happy/comfy. I know my pups can get a little anxious when I leave town, so I understand the reverse situation.
A typical day
Longer runs (5-9 miles) for the more athletic dogs, shorter ones for smaller pups. Dog park if the owner is OK with that, usually South Pawsadena at Arroyo Seco is where I go. Usually quite a few walks per day, since it's a good way for me to step away from the computer too.

Availability
I work full time for a market research company, so my schedule always varies. I'm usually on a 5-8hr work day with plenty of time for walks/park visits, etc.
