Hello! My name is Raelin. I work full time at the humane society and have a huge passion for animals. I’ve worked there a total of 5 years now, 2 being part time and 3 years full time. When I worked part time I was a kennel staff member, where I took care of the basic needs of the animals (feeding, taking the dogs out, scooping litter boxes, etc). I now work in the office where I do everything from adoptions, to intakes of owner surrenders and strays, basic medical care for the animals, answering phone calls and returning emails. I love my job and hope to stay there for a long time. I treat every animal with compassion and kindness. I’ll spend quality time with your pets and give them plenty of love. I am very comfortable giving medications (oral or injectable). I also don’t mind some behavioral issues, as long as they are not severe. I am a very patient person and will let your pet get used to me at their own pace. I have 3 cats of my own that I love dearly. I can’t imagine life without pets! They bring so much happiness and joy to my life. I hope one day to get dogs as well, but due to apartment living I am unable to have one.
