Pet care experience
I have grown up with dogs and love playing and going on long walks with them. I have lived with both large and small dogs as well as puppies and older dogs and love all breeds. Recently, I cared for my family dog who was sixteen years old and required lots of attention so I am also very comfortable with older dogs. I currently work from home with a flexible schedule so can cater to almost any schedule your pet requires. I love the snow and am not afraid to take dogs on trail walks when the ground is frozen! I have a vehicle so driving out of town for longer walks is not an issue.

With great enthusiasm and sincerity, I highly recommend Rae for work with Rover. Rae grew up in a home with two dogs and many other fury and feathery friends. She was also the go to girl in the neighborhood when neighbors and friends needed a dog sitter. She treats every dog like they are her own. She is reliable, honest and a good communicator. To us the proof is in always in the pudding in that dogs are always happy to see her and excited to be back in her care. Rae has cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, breads and personalities. She understands that each animal is different and has a special knack for finding those traits. She’s not afraid of “tough” personalities.

I have one friendly dog who plays well with others. Because I work remotely, we are almost never apart which means I can be with your fur baby for as long as you would like. We love going on walks, and I am okay with keeping them leashed if so desired.

A typical day
My favorite hiking trails for dogs include the backside of Hilltop, and the UAA dog park, but will walk dogs wherever they prefer! I have a large breed dog who loves fetch and swimming, so I am no stranger to active dogs, and if the owner is okay with it he would likely come along and play.
