Critter Sitter FUR all 🧡🐶🐱
Pet care experience
I grew up with several kinds of pets (dogs, cats, parakeets, guinea pigs, snakes, chickens, etc.) and love the enrichment that comes from these furbaby companions! I have house/pet sat for a few different households for several years (dogs, cats, and fish), l and would love to expand my support to help others with sitting, check ins/potty breaks, walks, etc. Our pets are our families and I strongly believe that they shouldn’t suffer due to our busy lives and we shouldn’t miss out on things in order to take care of them. Support is so important to make that balance work, and I want to help! I work full-time, but 95% of the time I work remote, and a lot of my schedule is flexible. This allows me the ability to help with walks, checking in/helping with potty breaks, and house sitting. When caring for other’s pets I prefer to have as much information as possible so I’m safe, they’re safe, and I can keep their life and routine as familiar as possible! This would mean knowing their triggers/trigger words, common commands, times/schedules for going potty, going on walks, when are meals, do we have allergies or dietary restrictions, are we not allowed on certain furniture, do we have a favorite toy, am I likely to try and jump the fence or dig under it if left outside alone, etc.
Reviews
Rae was great and attentive to the dogs. She kept us very well informed of how the dogs were doing throughout each day with pictures. We look forward to using Rae on our next trip. Our dogs loved her!
Rae was wonderful as always! It’s so nice knowing I can trust someone with my dog and home. She was also extremely flexible. I had a series of cancelled flights that extended my trip an extra day. She stayed with my dog the extra day, taking a load of stress off my plate.
We have been working with Rae for several months now and she is the absolute best! We have a very timid rescue dog who absolutely hated strangers, but she warmed up to Rae within the first few minutes of meeting her and now looks forward to her walks every week! Rae is very communicative and sends lots of pictures of our baby during their walks together. I wholeheartedly trust her with our dog which is not something I can say very often. Our dog has been much happier since Rae started walking her a few times a week and we would absolutely recommend booking her if you’re looking for the best care for your fur babies!
This was my first time using Rover and I was nervous how it would work out. However, Rae was wonderful, so kind and sweet and caring, and she did an amazing job checking in on my cat Ella while I was away for two weeks. Rae followed all my directions on feeding Ella, she was great at communicating and she was sending me updates with photos and videos from every visit. I could see that Ella was very happy and looking forward to Rae’s visits, which made me happy and allowed me to enjoy my vacation without worrying about my cat. Rae also did extra things like checking my mail and watering the plants. I would definitely use Rae’s services again if I ever need a pet sitter, I know I can trust her to take care of my cat, which makes me a happy pet parent. Thank you, Rae <3

Information Rae D. would like to know about your pet
-How are they around new people and should i prepare for a slow start -What are their rules with meeting new people/social interactions (no jumping on them, commands to use if they bark, avoid eye contact at first, etc.)
A typical day
We are our dogs whole world, so I always want to make sure I can help keep their life exciting and active (unless they just prefer snuggles, and I’m there for that too!). I could play fetch all day long, going for car rides, walks in the park, maybe a trip to Petco to investigate all the smells and grab a treat, etc. Every dog is different in how they handle social situations, but I am happy to expose them to whatever their families want for them. Not great around people or other animals? That’s ok! Plenty of places to go that are more secluded, but still break up their norm. Of course, you also can’t beat a normal walk around your own neighborhood.
