I have 30 years of experience surrounded by dogs, cats, rabbits, rodents, birds, horses, and rescues. I have cared for special needs pets and temperamental pets, and understand that each creature has their own personality and requirements. I love them all! Some of my experience: • I used to show AKC dogs and ARBA rabbits professionally. • I was the president and one of the obedience trainers for a canine 4-H club. I also assisted in leading a rabbit 4-H club. • I have experience assisting groomers with bath and brushing and nail trimming both dogs and cats. Your furry family member would always be treated as my own family under my care. :)

Rachelle was wonderful with our two dogs while we were away for a week. She sent lots of photos and kept us updated on how they were doing. Our home was kept clean and tidy as well. We will definitely request Rachelle to watch our dogs again!
Rachelle is always super friendly and takes great care of Nala. So comforting knowing my pup is somewhere she loves to be and is loved while I’m away!
Quinn seemed very happy and relaxed when she came home.
If my dogs could talk, I would think that they would say they had a good time.

House-sitting: I am an extremely tidy person, and will keep your home very clean (if not cleaner than you left it!). :) I’m respectful of each person’s space and very communicative should any questions or concerns arise. I do have a senior chihuahua mix who does homestays with me. He’s very chill and house-broken. He gets along with other pups just fine and is always happy to come on long walks. I never leave him unattended in your home. Pets are always allowed to sleep in the bed with me (unless you prefer that they don’t). I’m also happy to administer meds if required. I’m great at taking them out for walks or to the park, and I love sending daily photos/updates. Expectations/guidelines are discussed during our meet-n-greet, where I will come to your home to meet you and the crew! :) **Note: If you are happy with my care, your review would be greatly appreciated. No additional tips anticipated, otherwise. :) Thank you.

Please let me know the temperament of your pet and whether they require medications or have any special needs. Are they used to a feeding or walk schedule? Are there obedience-related behaviors you would like me to adhere to? (Such as not allowing them on the bed or couch etc) Are they friendly with other dogs and people? How are they off-leash? (Are they allowed to run off-leash at a quiet park, or do they require a long-lead?)
A typical day
Activities vary depending on the pet. If they enjoy fetch/tug-of-war, running etc, count me in! If they are more of just a cuddle bug at home, you’ll find me snug as a bug with them. I’m also excellent at snapping photos! ;)

Availability
I work remotely, so I am always around to supervise your pup(s)/pets and give them lots of love and attention. I’m an early riser. Potty breaks are every 2-3 hours or so, as well as a couple of longer walks each day. I enjoy being active, so I love to entertain, exercise, and play with high-energy dogs. Fetch, frisbee, tug-of-war, etc are some of the activities we’d play at a local quiet park. :) If your pup is more low-key, I’m happy to snuggle at home with them with lots of cuddles.
