Very flexible, reliable, and loves to go for walks! 🦮💕 Hello! My name is Rachele and I am a 25yo living in Saratoga Springs. I have over 18 years of experience with dogs and when you entrust your pup in my care, he/she will always get the love and attention they deserve! 🐶 From raising our family dog Hershey for 17 years, to taking care of my housemate's fiesty dog Django in Berlin, to walking my friends' dogs and working with many dogs I've met from Rover, I have plenty of experience with dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. Owners note how quick their dogs are to bond with me and the love and attention that I give each hour that they are around. I love to take videos and photos of us out and about and playing, and will always send them to you so you can know your pup is in good hands! I do not work on Rover for money. I truly do this because I love dogs, so your pup will always get lots of love, attention, and exercise with me! ~ Before booking, please note the following for my services as of Feb. 2022: ~ 🦮 DOG WALKING: I am an avid walker and spend each day, rain or shine, exploring beautiful Saratoga Springs on foot. Whether your dog needs lots of stops for sniffs or a quick-paced trot around town or some practice with obedience training, my walking style is easily adaptable for your dog's needs. 🏡 DROP-INS: Whether you need someone to stop by to give your pup endless rubs, take him/her for a long walk, play with their favorite toys, administer oral medication, give food/water/treats or something else, I take my drop-ins as seriously as my other services. Meeting in person at a public place is required before accepting a booking. 🐶 HOME BOARDING: I work from home so your dog will never be alone while you're away! As an avid walker, and since I am living in a small apartment, walks/potty breaks are between 15-60 minutes and 3-4x a day, (morning, lunch, after work & evening). I have two wonderful female housemates who love pets and will give your pup extra love and attention if I have to sneak out to the grocery store, etc. Meet and greets prior to booking are a MUST,** so please feel free to reach out and we can schedule a time for everyone to get to know one another 😊

Rachele is wonderful! This was my first time leaving Zoe with someone other than a family member, so I was a little nervous. But Rachele was great! She took Zoe for walks, sent videos of the two of them playing, and sent tons of pictures to reassure me all was better than ok. I highly recommend Rachele!
Rachele was amazing! She bonded so well with our dog who is nervous in uncertain situations or around strangers. She regularly took her for walks and sent us pictures and video clips. We highly recommend Rachele to take care of your pet!
Rachele was amazing with my pup! She sent lots of cute pictures and videos and he was clearly very well cared for. He loved his time with her!
Rachele was so unbelievably wonderful! She took such good care of my dog while I was away. She went above and beyond with my Beanie - teaching her new tricks and stimulating activities, and lots of walks and adventures. I was extremely happy with her and will definitely be using her again!

Please let me know if your dog has special needs, is engaging in obedience training, or has anxiety-inducing triggers. I will do my best to accommodate your dogs needs and make sure both you and he/she feels safe and comfortable while they are in my care.
A typical day
Monday-Friday: I wake at 7:30 to make some coffee, go for a short walk outside to wake up, and then I open up my laptop to start the workday. Around noon I go for a second walk to get some sun, movement and change of scenery. Once the workday is over (5/5:30) I leave the house for a final time to walk around Saratoga for an hour, sometimes getting groceries along the way. I come home, make dinner, and watch a movie or go to my sister's house to hang out before going to bed and starting over again! Weekend: I am almost always out and about on weekends, especially if it is sunny. Exploring different areas of Saratoga Springs by foot is one of my favorite things to do. I frequent the dog park with my friends' dog Frankie almost every week, and I love to go for hikes and walk through Saratoga Park. We can enjoy the great outdoors together!

Since I work from home, my schedule is very flexible. Please refer to my calendar for availability or message me with your intended dates/hours. Unless I have a last-minute work obligation, I am usually free and ready to give your pup lots of attention!
