Rachel has been an animal lover all of her young life. It was at the age of six that Lucky (Black Lab) became a part of our family. Rachel has been an integral part of his care these past 13 years. She received her Girl Scout Bronze Award for volunteer work at the Animal Welfare Society in Madison Heights, MI at age 11. Rachel starting horseback riding at the age of 8, and continues to participate in equestrian activities. She cares for her horse Millie who we have owned for the past 4 years. In addition, she worked summer horse camps and groomed at competitive horse shows around the state. Rachel also began volunteer work at the Humane Society in Ann Arbor during her freshman year at UofM. While this is a list of her activities, it does not describe her actions. Rachel genuinely cares for the well being of the animals in her life. She is also organized, dedicated, and hard working. She will bring these qualities to Rover.com, along with her loving nature to any dog she is charged with caring for on the job.
