Pet care experience
We've had dogs since when my husband and I first got married, in about 2006. We've lived in our wonderful home for about five years. We've got a beautiful 2-acre yard with a small fenced-in area next to the house. There is plenty of room to fetch and explore, and lots of wonderful trails nearby. We can take your pup to the river, or on a stroll through town! We have five kids that love animals, and we homeschool, so we are home most days to love on your pet. My two oldest love taking care of animals, and they have plenty of time on their hands for drop-ins or dog walking. I will always be there with them, but they are totally willing to do it, and if they aren't available, I'll gladly take care of it.

We have a fenced yard and plenty of room for your dog to lounge comfortably around our house. Typically we exercise our dogs once a day, but we are totally willing to accommodate. They get fed twice a day, once in the morning and once at night, although sometimes they'll sneak a little food out of us. At night, your dog will most likely be kenneled in our basement, with a nice soft bed to relax on, unless they are well-trained and won't get into trouble. Our kids absolutely love animals, so your pet will get all the love they could every need, with lots of hugs and kisses. If that's not what your dog is into to, our kids will totally understand that and will give your dog the space they need!

Anything that is notable! If they have anxiety, don't enjoy kids, or can't be kenneled for a long amount of time. We are very flexible and will do our best to accommodate your dog!
A typical day
We have a fantastic two-acre property, so we will often take our two dogs (and maybe yours) out to play fetch or explore. We can attach a lead outdoors in the summer so your dog can enjoy the sunshine while we are outside. Sometimes we will go and explore some nearby trails. We enjoy taking walks along our road, where our dogs will often catch the scent of some deer or turkey. After that, we'll come home and relax the rest of the day away.

Availability
We are home most of the time, with a couple days leaving for a few hours, so the dogs will get lots of free time to chill on the dog bed or at our feet. When we are gone though, the dogs will be kenneled alongside our pooches in their own comfy crate. During the summer, our dogs will hang out with us on the deck or get attached to a lead while we garden or run around. During rain or snow though, your pet will get a daily walk (or more) and time to play in the side yard!
