Pet care experience
I have always loved animals of every kind, from the more traditional dogs and cats to the somewhat harder to encounter horses, frogs, snakes, and rabbits. I have been the go-to pet-sitter for all of my friends for as long as I can remember, and it is something that I enjoy immensely. In addition, I have spent the past decade working with kids as a social worker and a teacher, and I have found that pets need many of the same things as children - kindness, patience, structure, predictability, playfulness- as well as a genuine desire to spend time with them. In addition, I am one of the most dependable and responsible people I know - someone you can count on to take care of things so that you don't have to worry when you are away. Looking forward to the opportunity to get to know you and your pets!

I would like to know likes/ dislikes/ commands that the dog knows/ areas to go or avoid. What distracts the dog from listening to commands? What treats keeps them motivated? Where do they like to be pet the most? Any advice about personality is much appreciated. I'm not available for aggressive dogs or dogs that interrupt my sleep.

I love exploring the parks and neighborhoods around Denver, and look forward to doing so with your pup! I also love hikes, runs, and staying active on the weekends.
