Pet care experience
I have been around dogs and cats my entire life. I am familiar with all types of collars and harnesses. I can provide walks or play time for puppies or dogs currently working on leash training.

I have known Rachel for over 10 years and there is no one I would trust more to walk or watch my own dog. Not only have I seen her take care of my own dog, but have observed the daily interaction and love Rachel has for her own two dogs and any other dogs she has worked with. My dog is a rescue with anxious tendencies and Rachel is always calm and patient with her and understands the difficulties that come with walking her and how to handle any triggers that they may encounter. She has even given me some tips and recommendations I have been able to incorporate into my own training! She is trust worthly, reliable and great at communication spaming with photos and updates as much as I want. I never worry about my dog when I leave her!
Rachel would provide safe, loving care for your pets. She's had pets pretty much all her life and enjoys learning new strategies for their care and training. She has a soft heart for pets, while her time in the Navy has also taught her how to take charge of any situation. She is someone you can trust and count on, which makes her a truly awesome human being!

Please let me know if your dog has favorite places to walk, how you prefer your dog to be trained on walks (heel vs. loose-leash, etc.), and if there are any special considerations such as leash reactivity that will require extra consideration!
A typical day
Walks are a great time to get physical and mental enrichment in. I like to get some extra positive reinforcement training in during walks by practicing simple commands, like "sit" and "heel," although it is important that dogs get some free time to explore smells and interesting things along the road, too!

I have a flexible schedule and am able to provide walks on weekdays or weekends with advanced notice. Please provide at least a day's notice for scheduling/canceling walks or check-ins!
