I'm a local Ph.D. student and I don't have the resources to have my own dog currently, but I really miss dogs. I grew up with dogs, big and small (daschund/labrador/cocker spaniel), and since I've been in school I have gotten time with dogs by walking friends' dogs, pet sitting, and general hanging out with any friends' dogs! Rover gives me a chance to get some much-needed dog "therapy" while earning a little extra income to supplement my Ph.D. stipend. I'm available to walk your dog or drop-in to check in on him/her. I absolutely love big dogs, so your Great Dane or Rhodesian Ridgeback is safe with me. :) My schedule will change semester to semester, depending on my coursework and teaching schedule, but it's also much more flexible than a standard 9-5 job!
