I have had the pleasure to own, live with, and interact with pets of all shapes and sizes in the past several years. I am an animal lover by nature who enjoys the companionship, and positive energy that owning and interacting with animals provides. While growing up, I was fortunate enough to have two fun-loving Yorkies. After a tragic diagnosis of cancer, I had to give one of my pups oral medications daily and provide the special care and attention that was required to manage her condition. This was an experience that was difficult emotionally but has equipped me with the valuable skills and knowledge required to provide the best care possible in these circumstances. During my time in undergrad, I lived with roommates who both had dogs of their own that I loved taking care of as well. I always looked forward to taking them out on walks around campus or to the local dog parks so they could get quality time in the outdoors to get the exercise necessary to stay healthy. I can't wait to meet new furry friends from my community that I can give love, care, and attention to in an effort to help out their busy owners!
