I became responsible for caring for our family pets at age 8, although my home has never been occupied without a cat or dog. Currently, I also regularly house sit for 2 graduate students in the area, each with multiple pets. I'm a very fun loving person and will take extraordinary care as I know our pets are family and they need to be treated accordingly. I own a beautiful dog named Hazel, she is my world. She has lupus, an autoimmune disease that causes lesions and blisters to develop on her skin. I have to frequently treat her wounds with cream and give oral medication.
