DO NOT HIRE THIS PERSON TO CARE FOR ANY LIVING ANIMALS IN OR OUTSIDE OF YOUR HOME: This was my first and last Rover service I will ever be involved with and can unequivocally say it was the worst care of my animals and home I've ever experienced in the 16+ years of having dogs. I booked a flight home from vacation a day and a half early due to concerning messages from Rachel about the state of my 2 special needs senior dogs. The smell of urine and feces when I walked in the door of my home was so intense I cried. It was abundantly clear she allowed them to go to the bathroom inside for 6 days and did not wash any of the pads or floors until the day I returned. My english bulldog Georgie needs 2x daily medication and Rachel did not administer a single pill the entire 6 days because she "forgot". Georgie had raw, open sores on her face fold and neck that required veterinary care and medication to resolve. My Maltese was to have boiled chicken breast that I left in the fridge to be cooked for his meals and it was still in the ziplock bag raw and rotting. I cooked ONE chicken breast before I left and that's what she fed him for 6+ days. She messaged me that he wasn't eating and it is clear that was because she was trying to feed him nasty spoiled chicken. She did not administer his topical mediation until the last day of her stay when she mentioned he "smelled really bad". Rhuby in fact did have an infection on his chest lipoma and needed vet care and antibiotics as well. She vomited on my toilet, floors and walls of the primary bathroom (and left it for me) as well as a sink full of gross, dirty dishes, a stove top covered in fat and grease splatter and a microwave that still had a plate in it full of bacon lard that was caked on the walls and turn table. The guest room was in disarray with her dirty linens untouched and there were sticky spills on the desk and chair. Rachel later apologized profusely and admitted she was going through some "stress" and that her "level of care had slipped" yet never once told me she was incapable of caring for my animals or home nor allowing me the chance to find a replacement. Through a hellish 4-day process with Rover customer service, safety and security team as well as their corporate entity, they offered an immediate and full refund after the photos of my dogs and home were shared with the teams. Rachel was incompetent, delusional, disrespectful and put my pets' lives in danger. Zero stars.

Rachel as always took care of my babies and my house! She was able to be flexible as I needed to change the dates a few times. Definitely recommend her!!
