I believe that dogs are a part of the family and I treat them as such. I've always had several pets, starting with hamsters as a little girl, chinchillas and rats as a pre-teen, snakes and ferrets and dogs as a teenager, and (my favorite) DOGS, as an adult. I respect Cesar Milan's training methods and style but would label myself as slightly more lenient and affectionate. I don't believe it's ok to hit or hurt animals in any way shape or form. I do believe that dogs respond best to positive reinforcement via verbally or in the form of treats. I'm looking forward to meeting your pets and helping them to feel safe and happy whilst you're away and can't be with them. Thanks!
