Pet care experience
Im a stay-at-home mom so i am home full time . I have 2 boys, ages 10 and 5. I love animals and have enjoyed caring for them since i was young. I have years of personal experience with our family dogs. I currently have a female Aussie named Izzy and a very recently adopted (from a family member) lab mix named Tara. They're both very comfortable around other dogs.

Romeo has stayed with Rachel many times and he is always excited to visit her again. What’s even better, is that Rachel is always just as excited to receive him. She takes great care of our boy which gives us a peace of mind while we are traveling. We will choose Rachel any time we can. It’s really convenient because she’s located so close to the airport.
We recently left our small poodle, Maggie, with Rachel for an extended stay. We were extremely pleased with the experience. Rachel provided frequent updates on Maggie’s stay and sent us pictures several times. Maggie looked like she was having a great time. We will definitely ask Rachel to watch Maggie the next time we go out of town.
Our doggies were relaxed and seemed well cared for!

The safety and comfort of your pup are our first priority. We have baby gates we put in front of our front door for added security. Our backyard is fenced all around with a mix of privacy fence and chain link. We check it regularly for gaps and holes. We do board more than 1 family's dog(s) at a time. Sometimes we may only have 1, other times up to 3. It's a great chance for socialization. Most of the time the dogs just coexist, but sometimes they make a best friend.

Please let me know if your dog has any special care needs such as crating, specific diet, oral medications, feeding times or walking times. Id be happy to accomodate! If you have any concerns at all, please communicate those to me so we can make sure we are the perfect fit for you and your pup!
A typical day
We are pretty low key. We like to take your dog on walks and throw the tennis ball around out back. We tey to keep a stock of play toys for tug of War and fetch.

Availability
What do you and your dog get when you book with us? Because I'm home full time, Im here to let your dog out as often as they need or like. I can stick to their schedule for feedings, they get to lay on the couch and snuggle with us, take them for walks, we keep our sizes low so I can give your dog lots of attention and love - you don't pay extra for that like you will at the big boarding facilities. We never crate your dog unless that is their preference at night/ when im out, or if theres a safety concern. It is a very personal, one -on-one experience. We know it can be hard for you and your dog, but we truly strive to make this feel like you're leaving them with a family member. We are up around 6:30 or 7 to let the dogs out and get them breakfast. I can accomodate to their schedules for feeding times and walks. Dinner is usually between 5 and 6. My son and I make outings during the day for a few hours at most, but are home for the most part.
