Pet care experience
I am a dog lover that is always learning from others (human and canine) what works best for different personalities. I strive to make all feel safe and happy. It is very important that I am able to provide consistency and fun for every pet I care for. I encourage rapport among us humans as well as canine companions to make all transitions between walks/homes go as smoothly as possible. I am flexible in my availability and understanding of any questions or concerns that you may have. I am confident with dogs of all sizes and am happy to work on obedience and/or leash skills with them. I have also worked with dogs that have special needs including the administration of medication, blindness, and deafness. Feel free to inquire further!

Rachel took great care of Moose and sent plenty of pictures to keep us at ease! We had one tired pup on our hands after we picked him up so we know he had fun.

Rachel and Ender were great with my 6 month old Blue Heeler named Lulu. Ender is a giant rottweiler with a gentle heart that put up with my wildchild all day. Rachel sent me photos throughout the day and had a lovely home. Lu fell asleep the second I picked her up. Mission Accomplished.
Rachel is an animal lover and has years of experience watching after dogs (and kids!). She took great care of our dog growing up and has cared for multiple dogs in the neighborhood as well. She is enthusiastic and committed to making sure whatever dog she is watching has a fun, safe stay with her.

To best care for your dog I would like to know about your dog's personality- what motivates them, and any extreme likes/dislikes. Please make me aware of any known allergies or other health issues and provide an emergency contact. I'd rather you tell me "too much" about your dog than not enough! No breed or size preference.
A typical day
If your dog stays with me we will: go on walks, play in the yard or parks, and romp around the house on days that are too hot/cold to go outside for long. Good behavior will be rewarded with praise and the occasional healthy treat (with prior owner approval). We can take walks through the park across the street or can go to the nearby dog park to play with others as well. (Again, with your permission.) If staying overnight, I can provide the appropriate size crate if needed, otherwise there are a number of comfy blankets for your dog to curl up on.
