Pet care experience
I have been around animals my whole life and was raised with dogs. I also horse back rode competitively for 15 years and have a lot of experience with taking care of horses, pigs, goats, chickens and other livestock. I am an owner of two precious kitties whom I rescued and my partner has two dogs that he rescued. I frequently walk and care for dogs in my complex and I am the 'go-to' person in my friend group to watch any animals.

Rachel was amazing! I asked her to come walk my dog because I have long hours at my new job and I can’t get home as early as I used to. Not only did Rachel say yes on the day of, but she was happy to do it. She took excellent care of my pup! She followed all my instructions to a T. When I got home, my dog was happy and obviously well taken care of. I received lots of pics and a great summary of the visit. Definitely book her, she’s amazing!

I will make sure that while taking care of your pet, all needs are tended to. I will make sure cat litter, or any other type of trash, is taken directly to an outside trash, bowls washed and water changed. When walking dogs, I am very observant and will make sure your dog is safe.

I would like to know how the dog is with other dogs, if they have broken a leash or taken off before. Please let me know if there is another dog/house in the neighborhood that is a trigger for your dog so we can avoid them for safety.
A typical day
I love to go on walks by myself. My cats aren't into the leash idea (I've tried) so it's great to be able to take a dog with me. I tend to stick to the neighborhood where the dog lives and after observing how it reacts, sometimes take the dog to other locations, obviously with owners permission. If there is a preferred spot your dog loves, let me know!

I am currently unemployed so I have a very open schedule. I am a nursing school student and waiting for class to start in the fall. I am also getting married this year so I am trying to have a flexible work schedule while planning a wedding. While I had the time. I thought I would spend it with some precious animals.
