I grew up with dogs my entire life. I currently have one "best friend" - a 12 year old chihuahua named Piggy. I also had a puggle with special needs. Growing up I had larger dogs (golden retrievers, labs, pitbulls) but I am more versed in the needs of smaller dogs. My puggle needed multiple medications daily, and monthly trips to a vet specialist so I'm very comfortable with dogs that have health issues. I can give oral medication easily, but if your dog has other needs just show me how to do it and I can learn. I also foster dogs occasionally through Gingers Per Rescue, usually older Chihuahuas and other very small breeds. I work full time but my husband is often home.
