A big heart for every creature!
Pet care experience
I've grown up around all varieties of animals for my whole life, since we got our first family dog at 3 years old. I've volunteered at rescue ranches and farms, cared for domestic rats and rodents, reptiles, fish, and even some exotic insects, and have been the go-to walker and watcher for friends' and families' animals for as long as I've been able to work. I am well versed in medication administration and animals with more special needs as well.

I’m so sorry you’re not feeling well! Hope you have a speedy recovery!
Awesome!
Rachel was very prompt, left great report cards and was overall very loving towards my dogs! I’ll definitely be using her again in the future!
Rachel is a lifesaver. I needed a walker for an additional dog this week and she was happy to help. She takes the time to play with them and is thorough on her rover cards to make sure you’re in the loop with everything that happened during her visit. I have rebooked her many times this month and will continue to do so!

Safety, trust & environment
I can't care for animals in my own home, but I have a dependable vehicle to get to and from your house or take your pet somewhere if needed. If staying overnight, I keep to myself and will be excited for a chance to just hang out with some animals and read a book! I have also been a caretaker for adults with developmental disabilities or elderly adults who need assistance for the past 13 years and have many people who can vouch for my trustworthiness in a household.
Information Rachel W. would like to know about your pet
The number one question for everyone's safety is whether or not they are friendly with other dogs. If they aren't, we will walk less populated areas or I will just be extra aware of surroundings as we go, as I've had to do with several dogs I've cared for. (Lots of squirrels and rabbits around that can make a dog bolt, so I'm always vigilant with surroundings.)
A typical day
I love finding new parks as there are so so many around Colorado. However, any walk is a good walk. If they have a favorite toy or playtime activity I am happy to oblige!

Availability
All of my work currently is gig work so my weeks/days are quite flexible. I can typically do short-notice care if you have last-minute cancellations from your family or other workers, or have had other travel/emergency chaos happen!
